Essential Remedy uses Quest for bloodwork. Quest is able to bill your insurance company for your labs. We are able to draw your blood during your in person visit or send you to one of the Quest patient service centers to have labs drawn if you are being seen virtually. .
It is highly recommended that you check with your insurance company regarding lab coverage. In an effort to completely address your health concerns, we perform very thorough lab panels that, even when billed to insurance, can cost a few thousand dollars depending on the specifics of your plan.
If you choose to not use your insurance you can pay for labs through Essential Remedy, taking advantage of a substantial discount. The cash pay discounted price for most recommended lab panels is $250 or less, depending on the labs being ordered.
Sometimes specialty labs that are not covered by insurance will be recommended. The price of these tests will always be reviewed with your prior to ordering.

DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?
Essential Remedy does not have contracts or network agreements with any health insurance providers, including Medicare. This enables us to maintain affordable prices and provide you with better service. Following each visit, we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to determine if you are eligible for out-of-network benefits. Essential Remedy does not complete any paperwork for insurance reimbursements on behalf of patients. You can use HSA/FSA cards to cover the cost of services. A card must be on file before your initial appointment.
DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION?
YES!! We offer virtual and in-person appointments.
In-person appointments are currently available on Fridays. For your in-person appointment we are located within Flex Wellness. The address is 860 Blue Gentian Rd Suite 125, Eagan MN 55121. When you arrive park on the north side of the building, enter the north door and the office is the first door on your left. Kindly take a seat in the lobby and one of team members will greet you at your appointment time.
CAN YOU BE MY PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER?
We specialize in providing the specific services listed on our website and do not serve as a primary care provider. We do not offer medication management outside of the medications that we prescribe for you. You will still need to have an established primary care provider for your other healthcare needs.
